Kep

We decided for the last bit of our Cambodia visit to head down to the southern coast and the resort town of Kep. Isolated and sparsely populated this seemed like the ideal place to relax before heading into the jungle of Sumatra.
The view from our balcony afforded us views of the most spectacular sunsets
We backed onto a small National Park which provided plenty of scope for practice hikes, the view from Kep summit.
Coming down the path marked suitable for 'experienced walkers' integrated climbing ropes provided.
Very cool rhinoceros moth spotted on the way.
However a great deal of time was spent sitting back waiting for the sky to entertain us.
A day trip for us coincided with a day trip for a group of monks, happily posing for photos
The view from the sailing club where we ate one night
One final sunset, every night was different and just as spectacular as the previous.
Kep was beautiful and a lovely place to rest, relax and get ourselves together for the next bit of the trip. Off to Sumatra to meet my sister for jungle trekking and more adventures.
Bye bye Cambodia we liked you a lot
